On October 31st 2026, Católica Medical School will host the 2.º Congresso da Sociedade de Ciências Médicas de Lisboa, dedicated to the theme “Rethinking Medical Education: What Should Change in Curricula and Teaching Models?”

The event will bring together representatives from Portuguese medical schools, faculty members, medical education experts and students, providing a forum for reflection and discussion on the current and future challenges of medical education, as well as on the evolution of curricula and teaching models needed to respond to changes in medicine, society and the needs of future healthcare professionals.

Registration

• The registration fee is €50 and is free of charge for members of the Sociedade de Ciências Médicas de Lisboa (SCML).
• Registrations should be made by email at scmed@scmed.pt.
• Participation in the workshops requires prior registration, which must be completed when registering for the Congress.
