Invitation to apply for the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus (CEEC)

The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in health (CIIS) of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) invites post-doctoral scientists to apply for the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus, financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), from 8th April to 22nd April 2022.

The Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health (CIIS), coordinates research activities at FM, through the CatólicaMed platform. The investigation carried out by CIIS produces molecular (disease mechanisms, biomarkers and therapeutic targets), clinical and quality of life data with the translational potential, particularly to feed tools based on Artificial Intelligence that allow the generation of new knowledge suitable for the development of solutions at the scale of the individual, family and community.

CatólicaMed has about 1000m2 of equipped laboratory area, including support offices and technical services, at UCP´ Sintra campus.

UCP expresses its availability to welcome candidates who wish to apply for the individual CEEC, for the development of independent and competitive research projects. UCP offers the Institutional and Academic support necessary for the submission of relevant proposals within the scope of the CIIS objectives.
