Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students):
This CU is held throughout the 6th year and the student is expected to develop an original scientific work or an internship report in an autonomous but supervised way. The student will have contact with scientific research, following a work plan designed by him and his mentor. The main objective of this unit is to allow the student to apply all of the empirical knowledge inherent to research, that is, to design and apply a scientific research plan. Thus, in general, the student in this CU should be able to: a) make a systematic review of the literature; b) formulate hypotheses; c) define the appropriate methodologies; d) present the results; e) analyze, interpret and discuss critically the results obtained; and f) reflect on the results obtained. It is also intended that at the end of the CU the results obtained are the object of a publication in a journal of international dissemination with arbitration.
