Católica Medical School has just launched the Advanced Course in Strategic Marketing in Healthcare, an innovative program that combines academic excellence and practical experience in the healthcare sector.
Scheduled to begin on February 28, 2025, this course is designed to empower professionals to develop effective, ethical marketing strategies aligned with global trends.

"Marketing in the healthcare sector today requires a multidimensional approach that integrates technology, market analysis, and effective communication. This course aims to train leaders who can positively impact the market by promoting health with a strategic vision," explains André Alves, course coordinator and expert in digital marketing and brand strategies.
The Advanced Course in Strategic Marketing in Healthcare aims to develop solid knowledge of strategic marketing and communication in the healthcare sector; equip professionals to plan and implement innovative campaigns using both digital and offline tools; ensure an ethical and legal understanding of industry practices; and prepare for technological changes and emerging trends, reinforcing analytical skills to measure results and optimize strategies.
The program is aimed at professionals in the fields of marketing, communication, management, economics, healthcare, and social sciences, who wish to distinguish themselves by developing innovative and impactful strategies in the healthcare sector.
The teaching team for the Advanced Course in Strategic Marketing in Healthcare consists of recognized specialists in their respective fields, ensuring high-quality training. André Alves, Director of Digital Marketing at CATÓLICA-LISBON and expert in digital strategies, will be responsible for the Strategic Marketing module; Joana Nobre, CEO of Crème de la Crème and expert in branding and digital marketing, will teach Consumer Behavior; Patrícia Nunes Coelho, Marketing Director Iberia at Lifestyles Healthcare and awarded Communicator of the Year 2023, will address Community Engagement; Inês Tomás Mateus, Market Activation Lead at L’Oréal with extensive experience in digital strategies, will lead the Influencer Marketing module; Alexandra Abreu, founder of Think PR and reputation management expert, will teach Reputation Management and Crisis Communication; and Hugo Tavares, lawyer and compliance expert in the healthcare sector, will be responsible for the Legal and Ethical Compliance module.
The course lasts 40 hours, spread over 7 weeks (Fridays, 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the Católica Medical School in Sintra.
