Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students): 

It is intended that students:

  • deepen their study the relations between Nervous System and Behavior;
  • understand the main cognitive functions with neurological reality;
  • know the main models of normal cognitive functioning as well as how the analysis of patients with cognitive deficits contributes to the understanding of these functions;
  • know the main contributes of the recent methods, namely imaging methods, to the understanding of cognitive functions;
  • acquire skills of literature search and analysis in the field.

  • The motor actor according to cognitive function: apraxias;
  • Functions assigned to the frontal lobes.
