Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students):

General aims:

  • stimulate the development of systematic thought and analytical attitude, enabling the student to perform a holistic analysis and to solve, in a team, the management problems that arise in the context of health organizations and and technological development, creating a proactive cultura to enhance the excellence of healthcare providade to populaitons. 

Specific aims:

  • stimulate the interest in healthcare management in its systemic perspectives, both local and individual;
  • promote the use of management tools in clinical practice;
  • develop social competences to be used as passive management instruments;
  • promote innovation as an agent that models the future and the modernization of institutions;
  • learn the basic principles of management of change in healthcare.
