Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students): 

The objective of the CU Elective III is to broaden the scope of learning in areas complementary to Medicine, allowing the student to make a well-founded choice of his/her own curriculum in accordance with his/her future options, namely the complementary learning needs that he deems necessary for a better pursuit of his/her academic/professional curriculum. As Elective III, students may choose one of the following options: any elective of the 5th year with 4 ECTS, of the educational offer available at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa or any curricular unit of the 2nd Cycle of the Faculty of Medicine of the UCP.
