The Pedagogical Board has the following composition:
- President;
- Course Coordinators;
- Teachers' representatives, appointed by the Dean of the Católica Medical School;
- A representative of the students of each curricular year of each degree conferring course, appointed in accordance with the Pedagogical Board's internal regulations.
It is the Pedagogical Board's responsibility to assess, discuss and pronounce itself on issues of pedagogical nature within the framework of the training offer of the Integrated Masters in Medicine of the Catholic Medical School, with the main objective of ensuring and improving the quality of the teaching provided. The competences of the Pedagogical Board are present in Article 15 of the Regulation of the Católica Medical School of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
