On November 4th, the Católica Medical School Student's Union, in partnership with Católica Medical School and the UCP Social Responsibility Office, organized a solidarity padel tournament, in support of the celebration of the month of Pink October, which symbolizes the struggle against breast cancer.

The tournament, organized with the aim of raising funds for the fight against breast cancer, was a great success, with the participation of 32 teams and several supportive spectators and resulting in the raising of an incredible sum of more than 600 euros which will go towards the cause of “Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro”.

Players of all ages and levels came together to compete in a friendly and supportive environment, demonstrating that passion for sport can be a powerful tool.

The generosity and spirit of solidarity of the participants made it clear that, together, we can make a difference!
