Intended learning outcomes
- Experience the medical and surgical aspects of the Orthopedics specialty and exposure to the various contexts in which it is practiced: consultation, emergency room, hospitalization, operating room.
- Acquisition of basic general concepts in traumatology, namely the biological potential for consolidation, reduction and stability of fractures.
- Framing orthopedic pathologies according to their etiology and prognosis.
- In-depth knowledge of two types of fracture (in the 2nd year) or five types of fracture (in the 5th year).
