Syllabus

  • Introduction: One-day presentation with general seminars on research methodologies and introduction to specific projects to be developed
  • Exclusive dedication to a research project, integrated in one of the CBR laboratories.
  • Inclusion in the activities of the respective research group, including lab meetings, journal clubs, institutional seminars, etc.
  • Preparation of a report and final presentation to disseminate the obtained results
  • For the year 2022/2023, the following projects are proposed:
    • Project 1: The impact of abnormalities in the structure of mitotic chromosomes in human pathologies (Raquel Oliveira)
    • Project 2: Mechanisms of antiviral protection by intracellular bacteria (Luis Teixeira) OR Determinants of gut microbiota colonization (Luis Teixeira)
    • Project 3: Mechanisms governing the formation of new influenza viruses (Maria Joao Amorim) Project 4: Molecular mechanisms driving vascular malformations (Claudio Areias Franco)
