Syllabus:
Presentation of theoretical and practical concepts on virology, including viral pathogenesis, host-virus interactions, antiviral therapy, emerging viral diseases, arboviruses, immunology of viral infections, clinical virology and diagnostic techniques, vaccines and immunization, oncogenic viruses and cancer, experimental models of infection in virology, research methods in virology, laboratory techniques in virology, epidemiology and viral surveillance, climate change and viral transmission, viral genomics and bioinformatics, computer models of viral transmission, artificial intelligence in viral research.
