
Católica Medical School invites you to participate in the final Seminar of the Curricular Unit of Clinical Bioethics, held on July 9th, from 12:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Católica Medical School Multicare auditorium.
The seminar titled "The Implication of Bioethics in Medical Practice: Cultivating Values, Principles, Norms, and Duties as Essential Medical Skills" will feature presentations by the first-year students of the Integrated Master in Medicine.
In this seminar our objective is to explore the essential role of bioethics within the domain of medical practice. Students will emphasize the significance of promotion values, principles, norms, and professional duties as essential skills for healthcare professionals.
Specifically designed for first-year students in the MIM program, this seminar aligns with the Labs classes.
During the seminar, students will explore the following topics:
- Moral Responsibility
- Ethical Challenges in the Physician-Patient Relationship
- Research Ethics with Adult Human Subjects
- Research Ethics with Pediatric Human Subjects
- Bridging theory and practice by emphasizing foundational bioethical principles
