Henrique Prata Ribeiro is a psychiatrist at the Beatriz Ângelo Hospital, a lecturer at the Católica Medical School and a PhD student at the University of Minho. He is the author of several scientific publications and books, including *Urgências Psiquiátricas*, *Dormir é Fácil* (with André Ponte) and *Step-by-Step Psiquiatria* (with Daniel Sampaio).
He stands out for his involvement in causes related to access to mental health, such as creating protocols with APAV, proposing legislative changes and defending free access to medication for schizophrenia.
Until December 2024, he coordinated the implementation of the Azores Mental Health Program.
He has a degree in Medicine from the University of Coimbra and taught at the Faculty of Medicine in Lisbon before joining Católica.
