DME objectives

  1. Promote an educational system that allows students to gradually acquire highly specialised medical knowledge and the ability for lifelong learning.

     

  2. Promote an educational system that allows teachers to train and continuously improve pedagogical activities associated with medical education.

     

  3. Implement a teaching system built upon Student-Centred Learning and Problem-Based Learning (PBL), supported by Tutoring and Mentoring activities.

     

  4. Research to evaluate teaching/learning processes and to develop pedagogical methodology adapted to student-centred learning. Study areas related to the implementation of the Integrated Master’s in Medicine.

     

  5. To be a reference in the field of medical education, through our work and results at Católica Medical School.

     

  6. Collaborate in medical education research and implementation projects, with national and international partners.
