Traditional Christmas is a family celebration, a huge event filled with joy and love, rooted in Christianity. It's a time when people get together with loved ones, talk, exchange affection, create, relive, and rewrite memories.
Thinking in terms of mental health, it is a time, in principle, with many protective factors: social support network , sense of belonging, community connections, reduced work stress, sense of purpose, participation in social activities and family cohesion.
