Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students):
At the end of this CU, students should be able to produce a dissertation reporting an original research.
To achieve this, all students must:
- Develop the work plan approved in the 1st year of the course.
- Be able to collect all the information necessary for the presentation and discussion of results.
- Research and critically analyse the theoretical framework, the research methodologies best suited to their work and the data collected.
- Be able to adjust and adapt their work whenever necessary.
- Communicate effectively within the scientific community.
- Deepen their basic scientific knowledge and specialisation by participating in learning activities selected according to the individual
- development plan included in the dissertation project, which may include: service learning, short-term internships, workshops, in-depth
- seminars, among others).
Syllabus:
The programme content will be specific to each student according to the topic of their dissertation. It will be up to the mentor and the
supervision team to support the student in their research and literature review, as well as in identifying any training needs, guiding the
student in the search for training/activities that will contribute to the development and consolidation of knowledge and skills.
