Integrated Master in Medicine

Dear Students,

First of all, we want to congratulate you on this achievement in your academic path, and to welcome you to Católica Medical School!

In here, we’ve presented important information for your first week of classes. Although this may be a long text, we kindly ask you to review it carefully!

Registration

Each student received an email with your UCP access credentials, from the sender “UCP Cloud Service”. The email subject is “UCP - IDU - Credenciais de Acesso | UCP - IDU - Access Credentials. This message is sometimes filtered as spam or junk, so we kindly ask you to check your email regularly.

In this message, you will receive your Unique Digital Identity - IDU with the format format s-xxxxxxxxxx@ucp.pt . After configuring the IDU, please log on to https://fenix.ucp.pt .

If you can't access it, please let us know.

Schedules and Classes

We are counting on you for the Opening Session of the 2026/2027 academic year on Tuesday, September 8th, at 10.00 am in the Católica Medical School.

Your class timetables will be available shortly.

UCP Student Card

UCP student cards are issued by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD). Representatives from the bank will be at the Católica Medical School on September 9th (Wednesday) and September 14th (Monday), at the entrance to Floor 1, to assist with the card issuance process.

The student card is mandatory. Therefore, on these dates, Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) will issue each student with a temporary card, which will allow access through the building's entrance gates until the permanent card is ready.

BusUp Shuttle

Católica Medical School offers a free shuttle service in coordination with the company BusUp. To use this service, please follow these steps:

  1. Register on the BusUp website (you must register on the website, don’t use the app!): https://taguspark.busup.com.
  2. During your registration, please ensure that you fill out the following fields:
    1. Email: please use your UCP email.
    2. Select company: choose "Universidade Católica".
    3. Id: your national ID number (for example, your cartão de cidadão or passport).
    4. Employee ID: indicate your UCP number (Please check your number at https://fenix.ucp.pt .
  1. Wait for the confirmation email from BusUp and, after that, you will be able to consult the available routes and make reservations on the BusUp website or app (Android / iOS).
  2. To book a trip, please select the desired route (round trip; or just a departure or just the return) and select the desired departure and arrival stops. Please find attached a step-by-step tutorial for reservations and cancellations with the app.
  3. When you enter the BusUp bus, show the driver the corresponding trip code. The app allows you to monitor the trip through GPS, and each bus will indicate the route (for example, A, D, O, etc.).

Information about each route and the exact location of each stop can be consulted here.

Please ensure that you always cancel reservations for the trips that you will not be using, to allow someone else to use that seat.

Sub23 Pass Declaration

You can download the declaration for the sub23 pass directly from Fénix after you’ve received your UCP credentials.

  1. Access https://fenix.ucp.pt and log in with your student number and password.
  2. After “UCP Login”, click on “my Fenix” » “Services’ » ’Requisitions”.
  3. Click on the » (+) Create button » “ Select Requirement Type ” » Declaration for Travel Card (Passe Sub 23).
  4. Choose the Course » [L1850] Integrated Master Degree in Medicine [Registered].
  5. Finalize your request by clicking on » “ Create”.

Mandatory Form – Lab Coats and Welcome Weekend

The Welcome Weekend for freshman students will take place from September 11th to 13th.

To participate is mandatory to submit this form, to choose the size of your lab coat.

The deadline to submit this form is Monday, August 10th.
