The Católica Medical School (CMS) announces the launch of the 3rd edition of its Postgraduate Program in Sleep Medicine, a training program designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in Sleep Medicine. The program begins on October 17th, in a b-learning format, and features a faculty of more than 50 national and international specialists.

According to the training coordinators, around 80% of adults have at least one sleep-related complaint or suffer from an undiagnosed disorder, such as insomnia or sleep apnea. 

"The growing global interest in the field of Sleep Medicine stems from the increasing prevalence of sleep disorders, exacerbated by the aging population, the obesity pandemic, and COVID-19," explains course coordinator Amélia Feliciano.
