Católica Medical School Faculty Member Selected for the 3rd Edition of Health Parliament Portugal

Ana Rita Constante, Faculty Member at Católica Medical School and Paediatrician, has been selected to join the 3rd edition of Health Parliament Portugal (HPP), an initiative that brings together outstanding young professionals to address the key challenges facing Portugal's healthcare system.

Selected from a pool of 759 applicants, Ana Rita Constante will be one of 60 participants who, over the course of six months, will develop concrete policy proposals to address current and future healthcare challenges, contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions for the sector.

Health Parliament Portugal is the only parliament in Portugal entirely dedicated to healthcare. It provides a platform for debate, collaboration, and the development of recommendations, bringing together professionals from different disciplines and generations around a shared goal: strengthening and improving the national healthcare system.

The initiative is a joint project of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, NOVA University Lisbon, and Microsoft, highlighting the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and technology in shaping the future of healthcare.
