On September 12th, 111 volunteers, mostly students from Católica Medical School, came together in Seia to help renovate the local fire station.

The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Just a Change association, aimed to welcome and integrate new students while fostering solidarity and empathy. The volunteering activities, which included painting and repair work, also sought to raise future doctors’ awareness of the needs of rural communities and the importance of teamwork and community engagement.
