Faithful to its Christian foundations and its humanist and care-centred vocation, Universidade Católica Portuguesa is commited to developing inspiring and innovative medical training closely linked with research, in order to train health professionals with the skills to generate knowledge, with a profound ethical sense and social responsibility, and who will contribute to the continuous improvement of health care and the advancement of the well-being of populations.

To achieve this goal, a partnership was formed between Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Grupo Luz Saúde, as well as a collaboration with Maastricht University, the Administração Regional de Saúde de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo, Instituto Público, the Hospital Beatriz Ângelo and the União das Misericórdias Portuguesas, through protocols already signed with these institutions.
