Sintra Campus Building

Campus CatMed

Católica Medical School is located on the Sintra campus - Estrada Octávio Pato 2635-631 Rio de Mouro. The building designed by the architect Bartolomeu da Costa Cabral, built on the campus and inaugurated in 2001, has an area of about 10,000 square metres and was designed to house an academic teaching and research unit.

This building was rehabilitated to receive the Faculty of Medicine, whose intervention especially focused on the creation of two spaces: anatomy laboratory and animal house. In the same way, the entire area around the building was recovered to facilitate access and parking.

The campus includes spaces for classrooms, amphitheatres, laboratories, library and documentation centre, as well as all support services.
