As part of the Hospital da Bonecada project, Católica Medical School had the privilege of actively participating in this educational and health promotion initiative for young children, with a focus on nutrition and lifestyle.
Throughout the activity, 4th-grade students from Colégio Bartolomeu Dias took on the role of real “doctors,” leading various clinical stations specially designed for students in grades 1 through 3. Through consultations, simulated diagnoses, and hands-on learning activities, the event fostered contact with the hospital environment in a fun, safe, and educational way.
This experience not only demystified the healthcare setting but also fostered empathy, teamwork, and an interest in healthcare professions.
Católica Medical School’s participation reinforces its commitment to training future professionals who are more compassionate, aware, and connected to the community, contributing to initiatives that bring science, health, and education together from an early age.
An activity filled with enthusiasm, learning, and lots of smiles, where everyone left with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Thank you!
