  • September 2021 - Present: Visiting Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Portuguese Catholic University
  • 2012 - 2014: Researcher at the Department of Biochemistry (Membrane Protein Diseases Unit) of FCUL, with a postdoctoral fellowship awarded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). 
  • 2010 - 2011: Guest lecturer in the Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Algarve.
  • 2005 - 2012: Researcher at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Lisbon (Angiogenesis Laboratory, UIPM), with postdoctoral fellowships awarded by FCT.
  • 2003 - 2008: Lecturer (course coordinator, theoretical and practical classes) in Developmental Biology at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technology (ULHT), Lisbon.
