The CMS Model WHO Society is thrilled to host the CMS Model WHO 2025 in collaboration with the United Nations Association Portugal at the Católica Medical School (CMS) from 21–22 June 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal.
The CMS Model WHO is a simulation conducted entirely in English, offering university students worldwide an immersive opportunity to engage in an authentic World Health Assembly experience. The conference features official United Nations protocols, training workshops, and expert briefings, all made possible through collaboration with UNA Portugal, a member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and CMS and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP).
This year’s theme, “Ensuring Health Care Access in Zones of Conflict”, highlights a critical global issue central to the WHO’s agenda. Delegates will engage in meaningful debates about topics such as medical supply shortages, the safety of health workers in conflict zones, and managing disease outbreaks in refugee camps. The CMS Model WHO aims to inspire collaboration, diplomacy, and advocacy in tackling today’s pressing global health challenges.
The program will be announced soon.
