The brain remains one of science's greatest mysteries. Despite many advances and discoveries, this frontier remains as challenging as it is relevant today. July 22nd is World Brain Day, a date established to draw attention to the importance of this organ and its central role in people's quality of life.
There are still too many open questions that require in-depth investigation. What's missing isn't just more technology, it's integrated understanding. From biology to physics, chemistry, and physiology, to data science and image analysis, neuroscience is a vast and fertile field for those brave enough to venture into it. Neuroscientists must be able to explore the connection between the biological reality of the brain and its functions. To achieve this, we need to create algorithms that allow us to analyze large volumes of data to simulate brain functions.
