The Training Course in Entrepreneurship in Health adopts an active and participatory teaching approach, combining lectures with student-centred methodologies. Classes include theoretical presentations to introduce key concepts, real-life case studies to contextualise the topics, and practical activities that enable students to apply the tools covered (Business Model Canvas, pitch deck) to specific projects.
Group dynamics and guided debates will be encouraged, fostering critical thinking, collaboration and problem-solving skills within the healthcare context. The development of a case study throughout the course allows for the progressive integration of knowledge, culminating in a final presentation with structured feedback from lecturers and peers.

The teaching methodology combines lectures, group discussions, real-life case studies and practical activities. This approach enables students to consolidate theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in an integrated manner. Continuous assessment encourages regular student engagement and the progressive development of projects. The deliverables (Business Model Canvas, Pitch Deck and final presentation) are directly aligned with the learning objectives, ensuring that students apply the knowledge acquired in practical contexts relevant to health entrepreneurship.

Assessment:
  • Continuous assessment (30%): active participation, completion of practical exercises and contribution to group work.
  • Submission of the Business Model Canvas (20%).
  • Submission of the Pitch Deck (20%).
  • Final case study presentation (30%).
