On World Bioethics Day, Universidade Católica Portuguesa invites the academic community and society at large to an event dedicated to the theme “Bioethics and Peace | Thinking, Caring and Building the Future”.
This event will provide a space for reflection and dialogue on human dignity, care, responsibility and the common good, at a time when scientific, technological and social challenges call on us to consider not only what we can do, but also the future we want to build.
Marking World Bioethics Day under this theme is an affirmation of Bioethics’ contribution to a culture of peace founded on human dignity, justice, dialogue and responsibility towards others and the common good. In the face of the social, scientific and technological challenges of our time, it is essential to create spaces for reflection and deliberation that can help guide responsible choices.
