Does dandelion root cure cancer?

A video is circulating on Facebook claiming that drinking tea made from the root of the dandelion plant “destroys cancer in weeks”.

This publication claims that researchers from the University of Windsor, Canada, analyzed the impact of this plant on cancer cells and concluded that “leukemia cells were forced into apoptosis, that is, cell suicide.”

According to the same post, in addition to destroying cancer cells, this substance would not cause any harm to healthy cells, “which does not happen with chemotherapy”.

In fact, the study in question is real and was published in 2011 in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology . But does this scientific article confirm that drinking dandelion root tea cures cancer?
